This work ‘The Embodiment of Sunshine’, focuses on an archaeological find: a bear carved from amber. About 10 cm wide and 3.5 cm high, the figurine dates from a period between 9600 and 4100 BC and was made at the time as an amulet for a bear hunter. If some kind of ‘time portal’ existed, in which the object teleported to our present world, what would it look like? What meanings would we attach to it then? With coloured glass, the sculptures refer directly to the iconic Gold Bear sweets.
